MBTI Step II
The MBTI Step II goes beyond the basic MBTI. The Form M provides you a four letter type code. The Step II goes beyond that and provides you information on 20 facets that correlate to the four dichotomies of the MBTI. Isabel’s research went way beyond just the four letters. The Step II provides people with more information about themselves. Isabel realized that two ENFP are different just as there are no two ISTJs who are exactly alike. The Step II helps people realize how they differ from some else of the same type.
The Step II also helps you help people determine their validated type. For example, my daughter has always scored as NTP, when in fact she is NFP. The Step II provided us the reasoning why she has never scored as a person who prefers feeling; her facets on the Step II are correlated more with the Thinking preferences. When negotiating with clients, usually after they see the depth and importance of the Step II they are more willing to have their employees take the Step II.
